This is an interesting thing .... this is a blog put out by a man, an engineer .... but his collections are amazing!! check it out!!

the reason I'm intrigued is because engineers usually don't have this artistic vein... very straight to the point and very objective... so you wouldn't imagine one being interested in such a hobby as embroidery!! least of all a man.... please don't take me wrong.... there's no prejudice here!!! only really intrigued... I've worked for many engineers...men... and I know... they are not very patient at all... no flowering things either!!

enjoy!

Dedicated to Family!

Here is our small family as of 2006... it has expanded as of May this year as now there is a daughter-in-law added to it!
What would life be like without a family and loved ones?!!!! I count my blessings as I think of them ... my boys !!! Paul, Joshua and Zoltán!!!  we are a mix of Hungarians, Brazilians, Americans, and all the European backgrounds that came before us... I come from a native Hungarian ancestry, married an American with European, English mostly, background, one son born in the US and one in Brazil! they were both raised in the US and Brazil, I was born and raised in Brazil by my totally Hungarian mother and totally Brazilian stepfather who I called father!
Remarried to a another American who also has a mostly English background, but must have something of German or thereabouts in the ancestry as well!!
My older brother was born in Klagenfurt, Austria in the year WWII ended, and an younger brother born in Brazil of a Brazilian father, who had European ancestry, German, and probably others as well!!
So we can say our family was quilted with scraps from everywhere... I would call it a crazy quilt ... with fantastic imported fabrics of all makes and stitched with lovely designs made of the joys and sorrows of a normal family who had to face all the many challenges brought on by wars, separations and unions and learning, loving, forgiving and imprinted by the hand of our Creator, as we have walked in this mortal life, hopefully using all these experiences to become more empathic, understanding and better people... supporting of one another as we move along!!

I wouldn't have it any other way!  Love has been the tonic of it all... what else could I possibly want!!?
